Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill's real-life relationship is opposite to what it seems, says WWE veteran
Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill have been a tag team since the latter joined WWE SmackDown earlier this year. However, a wrestling veteran recently claimed the two superstars do not get along in real life.
The EST of WWE and The Storm are currently in their second reign as Women's Tag Team Champions. Last Saturday, the two ladies, alongside Naomi, hosted Bad Blood. While Belair and Cargill appear on the same page on television, former Interim RAW General Manager Jonathan Coachman recently claimed that is not the case in real life between the two.
The 51-year-old stated that Cargill and her tag team partner do not get along. He pointed out that Belair might not be happy with her current booking after main-eventing WrestleMania a few years ago:
"From what I understand, they don't even get along, Tommy. Like, they don't get along. [Really?] Yeah. And if you're Bianca Belair, she was main-eventing WrestleMania or some of the biggest shows four years ago. What do you think she feels like right now?" The Coach said. [44:45 - 45:00]
Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will defend their title next week on WWE RAW
Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill successfully defended their Women's Tag Team Championship against Unholy Union on the September 9th episode of Monday Night RAW. The two will now put their title on the line versus Kairi Sane and IYO SKY on next week's episode of the red brand.
While they continue to perform on WWE's weekly programming, the Women's Tag Team Champions were absent from multiple premium live events' cards this year, including SummerSlam and Bad Blood. Cargill recently addressed the subject in an interview with The Masked Man Show. The Storm stated that she and her partner take their absence from these PLEs as motivation:
"It's motivation. I would say it's motivation for us to go out there and perform and have our fans go and beg for us to be on these PLEs like they've been doing. If we go out there and we continue to crush our matches, they're going to do nothing but want more and more of it. Right now, I believe that [Bianca] and I are reviving these belts and wanting to elevate these belts to new heights. So, our job is to continue to elevate the women's division," she said. Many expect Belair and Cargill to break up in the upcoming few months, leading to a feud heading into WWE WrestleMania. It would be interesting to see if that would happen.
