Bianca Belair makes surprising statement on relationship with Rhea Ripley
Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair will arguably go down in WWE history as two of the greatest women's division talents of all time. The multi-time champions have faced off numerous times and even teamed up a few times. Ahead of WarGames, Belair just made a brief but telling statement to her teammate.
The Eradicator has worked almost 350 matches since joining WWE in mid-2017. Ripley's debut singles match was against Bianca Belair at a NXT live event, where she faced defeat. While there have been no title changes between the two fan favorites, The Eradicator did retain the NXT Women's Championship over Belair at TakeOver: Portland and three live events in 2020.
Ripley earlier took to Instagram and declared WarGames with a group photo from Monday's RAW. In an update, Belair has responded to Ripley's post with a curious remark on the dynamic between the 2021 and 2023 Royal Rumble winners. The USA Network also weighed in, stating this may be the most dominant group ever.
"The ying to my yang! Let's goooooooo," Bianca Belair wrote.
Survivor Series will mark the third WarGames match with Ripley and Belair. NXT's 2019 double-cage match saw Rhea, Tegan Nox, Candice LeRae, and Dakota Kai defeat Belair, Shayna Baszler, Alba Fyre, and IYO SKY.
The main roster WarGames match in 2022 featured Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Becky Lynch, and Mia Yim going over Ripley, SKY, Kai, Bayley, and Nikki Cross.
Rhea Ripley and others added to WWE Survivor Series
World Wrestling Entertainment is less than a week away from its 38th annual Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event. The event will take place on Saturday, November 30, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Officials now have three matches confirmed for Survivor Series, with rosters for the double-cage structure almost finalized. Below is the updated lineup:
- World Heavyweight Championship Match: Gunther (c) vs. Damian Priest
- Women's WarGames Five-On-Five Match: Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Naomi, Bianca Belair, and Jade Cargill vs. Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Candice LeRae, Nia Jax, and Tiffany Stratton
- Men's WarGames Five-On-Five Match: The OG Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn) and TBA vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa) and Bronson Reed
Seth Rollins is expected to be the fifth man for the OG Bloodline. Another top match being speculated on for the PLE is Kevin Owens vs. Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
