Bianca Belair reveals most embarrassing WWE moment
Former WWE Women's Champion Bianca Belair is one of the best in-ring performers in the women's division of the promotion. The EST has had a successful run on the main roster, having won multiple titles over the years. However, she recently opened up about the most embarrassing moment in her time in the company.
The 35-year-old had defeated former WWE Superstar Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37 to win the SmackDown Women's Championship. She was scheduled to defend her title against The Boss later that year at SummerSlam. However, Banks was replaced by Carmella after she failed to get clearance to compete at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
In a shocking turn of events, a returning Becky Lynch attacked Carmella before the match and challenged Bianca Belair for a title match. The champion accepted the challenge, only to lose the contest and the championship to The Man in less than thirty seconds. In a recent interview with Metro.co.uk, Belair opened up about the match, referring to the heartbreaking loss in front of her parents as her most embarrassing moment in WWE.
"26 seconds at SummerSlam, that’s the most embarrassed I’ve ever been. My parents were in the audience. They didn’t know what was going on. They had no idea what was happening. I felt really bad for them," she said. [H/T: Metro.co.uk]
Popular WWE Superstar reflects on the dynamic she shares with Bianca Belair
Bianca Belair joined forces with Jade Cargill and Naomi to go up against Damage CTRL ahead of WrestleMania XL. Belair and Cargill have been a tag team since and even briefly held the Women's Tag Team Championship.
During a recent appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Cargill praised her tag team partner, Bianca Belair. She further recalled her first interaction with her. The former AEW star also mentioned her similarities with The EST of WWE and also noted how easy it was for them to get along.
"We're two strong females. We go out there with both a hybrid. She [Bianca Belair] can do all the athletic things, and I can do all those athletic things. She's strong, and she's the EST. I'm just as strong or stronger. We're out here just, I don't know, like we just mesh. The first moment we met each other was like, ‘Hey friend, how you doing? Hey, friend, how you doing?’ It was just the easiest, like we had just known each other for so long. And you know, a lot of our goals are similar to what we want for this industry, and elevating the division," she said. [H/T: Wrestlingnews.co]
Belair and Cargill lost the Women's Tag Team Championships to The Unholy Union at WWE Clash at the Castle: Scotland. It remains to be seen what lies ahead for the duo as they continue to feud with the champions.
