Bianca Belair vs. Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 41 is inevitable, veteran blasts WWE for stalling

Bianca Belair vs. Jade Cargill is a high-profile match that many believe needs a WrestleMania stage. But the next edition is only in April 2025. Is WWE stalling with the two superstars? WCW legend Konnan believes so.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill became two-time Women's Tag Team Champions at Bash in Berlin two weeks ago. Both stars are self-admittedly on a mission to make the women's tag team division relevant. While Belair and Cargill have managed to get title defenses added to premium live event match cards consistently owing to their star power, a lack of depth in storylines is not doing them any favors.

Konnan and Disco Inferno touched on a bevy of topics during a new episode of Keepin' It 100, including an inevitable showdown between The EST and The Storm. Konnan claimed he could see it from a mile away what WWE is doing with the two women, but it is not enough:

"We all know that's gonna happen sooner or later," Konnan on Bianca Belair vs. Jade Cargill happening at WrestleMania 41. "But [WWE] should be doing something with them now. They should not be running their wheels with two girls that look like that." [From 21:12 to 21:21]

There is evidence to prove this sentiment with regard to WWE belts: a wrestler defines the prestige of it. Belair and Cargill's star power certainly lends some credibility to the Women's Tag Team Title, something that the belts were severely lacking for years.

Jade Cargill addressed the elephant in the room over SummerSlam weekend

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill spent a few months without the titles after The Unholy Union dethroned them in Glasgow, Scotland, in June. Needless to say, their star power was never affected.

During an interview with IGN promoting SummerSlam 2024, Jade Cargill was asked about dream matches. The Storm did not shy away from admitting that her tag team partner, Bianca Belair, is the woman she wishes to step into the ring to wrestle. However, she is happy with the way things are going presently:

"It's at the tip of everybody's tongue right now, Bianca [Belair]. But, right now, we're killing things, we're working together, we're gluing to one another, that's why everybody wants to see that," Cargill said.

The EST and The Storm retained their titles against The Unholy Union last week on RAW. What is next for them bears watching.
