"Big beefy girls going at it," says Rhea Ripley on potentially facing 32-year-old WWE star
Rhea Ripley failed to dethrone Women's World Champion Liv Morgan at WWE SummerSlam. Much to the chagrin of the Aussie Superstar, her on-screen partner Dominik Mysterio betrayed her at The Biggest Party of The Summer and officially joined forces with The Miracle Kid. The Nightmare has been out for blood since then.
Meanwhile, on SmackDown, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair are chasing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship after losing the title to Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event this past June.
While Cargill's in-ring ability is brought up for debate by many, there is no denying that the 32-year-old has the personality and raw strength to become an all-time great WWE Superstar. Meanwhile, during a recent appearance on Fanatics Fest NYC, Rhea Ripley commented on facing Jade Cargill in the future.
Notably, Cargill has previously revealed her desire to lock horns with The Eradicator inside the squared circle. During the above-mentioned appearance, the WWE RAW Superstar revealed that Jade was one of her dream opponents, adding that she loved ''big beefy girls going at it!''
"I saw she just said that I’m one of her dream opponents. To be completely honest, she [Jade Cargill] is one of mine as well. I love big beefy girls going at it," Ripley said. [H/T: Fightful.com]
WWE Superstar Jade Cargill responds to her critics
Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor Bill Apter and host Dr. Chris Featherstone recently spoke to Jade Cargill ahead of The Biggest Party of The Summer.
Cargill was asked about the criticism she has received for her in-ring work. The Storm claimed that she ''couldn't care less,'' adding that she was ''going out there and killing it.'' The SmackDown Superstar also claimed that she was on the path to becoming a legend in WWE.
"It's inevitable! So, I couldn't care less because my check still clears, and I'm having fun doing what I'm doing. I'm working with the best right now. Who would say no to the position I'm in right now? No one, no one. And I can't help that God just gave me amazing looks, and I'm going out there and killing it. I'm sorry if that comes off cocky; it is what it is. I'm gonna be a legend,'' she said.
