Big E pays a touching tribute to his girlfriend, the sister of WWE star Michin

When it comes to the topic of Big E, WWE fans only want to know when or if he will ever return to the ring. It's been well over two and a half years since an unfortunate injury has kept him out of action. However, he has found love in the meantime and has paid a beautiful tribute to his girlfriend on Instagram.

Big E made his relationship with Kris Yim official not too long ago and even put out a story recently asking people how he didn't know it felt so great to be in love. It seems like he is enjoying his time away from the ring. Kris Yim happens to be the younger sister of WWE Superstar Michin (Mia Yim).

Once again, Big E paid tribute to Kris Yim on her birthday, putting out a beautiful message and thanking her for simply allowing him to exist in her orbit.

"The most joyous, peaceful and lovely birthday to my queen, my partner in life, my best friend, and my favorite undercover goofball. I love you so wholly. Being by your side has been the greatest gift life has blessed me with. You pour so much of yourself into others. The kindness and thoughtfulness you spread inspires me daily. I pray we get many more decades to do this together but if today is our last day, I am forever thankful to the Creator for allowing me to exist in your orbit."

Big E is still hopeful about an in-ring return but has a personal timeline for it to happen

As already mentioned, fans are desperate to know when The New Day star could be coming back - with his answer about it being fairly consistent.

In a conversation with Carlo Perruzza, the former WWE Champion admitted that while he's hopeful for an in-ring return, things aren't looking too good just yet. He admitted that he's working against the clock and thinks his return needs to happen within the next year or so:

"We’ll see [if I could ever wrestle again]. Right now, my neck is just not ossifying. It’s not turning into new bone quite yet. It is kind of healing fibrously. So it’s all connected, and it’s no fear that if I were pushed too hard or if I were bumped, anything would happen. None of that. But I’m not really in a position right now to be cleared medically. Because of the nature of what we do is very physical, and taking bumps requires you to have a rock-solid neck. So, we’ll see what the future holds. Mind you, there’s kind of a race against the clock. I’m 38. I’m no spring chicken anymore. So, if I were to be cleared, hopefully it would happen within the next year or so," he said. [H/T: POST Wrestling]

After the Xavier Woods-Kofi Kingston storyline on RAW where Woods is teasing a breakup with his long-time stablemate, there has been speculation that Big E could be coming back at last.

Time will tell if this is a setup for his return or not.
