Former WWE Champion reacts to the idea of The New Day adding a new member

Kofi Kingston recently shared his thoughts on the possibility of The New Day adding another member to the group.

Karrion Kross defeated Kingston in a singles match last Monday night on the red brand. Kross has been trying to convince Xavier Woods to leave The New Day in recent weeks and will face the former King of the Ring tomorrow night on WWE RAW.

Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Emily Mae in an exclusive interview, Kingston noted that the group would no longer be The New Day if they added another member.

"So, I've said this, and I'm firm in my stance. If you add something to the New Day, it is no longer the New Day. For example, if you have a tomato soup and you add some cream to it, it is no longer tomato soup; it is a tomato bisque. So, it's a little bit different. It's not going to be the same, you know?" said Kofi Kingston. [From 01:50 - 02:11]

Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently claimed that it could be time to repackage The New Day on WWE television. Only time will tell what the future holds for the popular group on RAW moving forward.
