WWE News: Big Show reveals the strongest wrestler he's worked with, his present weight and more
In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet of WSVN-TV network, the Big Show spoke on a wide variety of topics relating to himself and the WWE overall. On being asked about the strongest wrestler he has worked with, Show claimed that it was John Cena as he could pick him up with incredible ease.
‘The World’s Largest Athlete’ also praised Brock Lesnar for being the most explosive athlete he has competed against due to his quick movement in the ring. But Cena, according to him, is much more composed and strong in comparison to any other athlete. Big Show was quoted as saying:
“John Cena. Hands down. But Brock is probably the most explosive athlete I've ever been in the ring with. Brock moves so quick it's scary sometimes. But as far as people picking me up, nobody's like John Cena.
When Cena picks you up, it's like you're standing on concrete. I've never seen a guy so composed and so strong and when you're up there on his shoulders, you're not going anywhere,”

During the interview, he revealed that he has lost close to 70 pounds in the past 6 months and his current weight is even lesser than 400 pounds now. Show stated,
“I'm 70 pounds lighter than I was six months ago. I'm down to 396 pounds. I haven't been this skinny since 1995. I'm the not-so-big Big Show!”
On the possibility of competing against NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal at Wrestlemania 33, he spoke about how he brought up the topic while catching up with O’Neal at the ESPY Awards. He claimed that the invitation is there for ‘Shaq’ to make it to Orlando for the pay-per-view and get beaten up by him:
“I threw it out to Shaq at the ESPY Awards and said 'What's up. Let's get this thing going. Let's give it a run.' He seemed hip to the game then so we'll see what happens between now and then. The invitation is there. Shaq knows it's in Orlando, it's a short drive. Show up and get smacked up”
The Big Show also had some strong words of advice for Raw superstar Big Cass. According to him, there is nothing much wrong about Cass apart from the fact that he needs to get a little meaner, considering the fact that he is a big guy:
“He's a big, tall kid. There's no doubt about it. He's got great enthusiasm in getting the crowd motivated. He's still developing and growing into his own skin. I'd like to see Cass get a mean streak. That's the only criticism I would have for Cass. If you're going to be a big guy in this business you gotta get a little nasty,” Show told Van Vliet.
On being asked about when the ‘New Era’ of the WWE came into existence, the former WWE World Heavyweight champion claimed that the emergence of Shield kickstarted the era and that Ambrose, Reigns and Rollins are all on course to become future legends of the business.
“This New Era probably began with The Shield. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose.
They were the announcement of the New Era and those guys have really done a great job of building and growing and they're laying down the groundwork to be tomorrow's legends,” said the Big Show.
