Bloodline member botches pin during Crown Jewel match; WWE allows it

The opening match of the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event featured Roman Reigns & The Usos against The Bloodline. Midway through the match, Solo Sikoa accidentally pinned Reigns in a huge botch.

In 2023, Jey Uso parted ways with the group after Jimmy Uso cost him his match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. Heading into the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, The OG Bloodline reunited on SmackDown.

Sikoa hit Reigns with a spike and pinned him. Jimmy tried preventing the three-count but failed. Despite the three-count, the referee didn't call for the bell, as the match continued.

The match's closing moments saw the referee get taken out. This allowed the new Bloodline to take advantage of the numbers game. Sikoa secured the win for his side after hitting Reigns with two Samoan Spikes and pinning him clean.

Crown Jewel marked Reigns' second-ever match since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. At the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, he teamed up with Rhodes to defeat Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

Post-match, Reigns and his team were outnumbered by Sikoa's group, only for Sami Zayn to make the save. However, the former Honorary Uce accidentally kicked Reigns.
