Bloodline member reacts to former World Champion's message to Roman Reigns ahead of WWE SmackDown
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is finally set to return tonight on SmackDown.
Reigns has not competed since SummerSlam in August. He defeated Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat match after Jimmy Uso betrayed his brother. However, The Bloodline has been faltering during his absence and recently lost a tag team match at Fastlane.
John Cena and LA Knight teamed up at the Fastlane premium live event this past Saturday night to defeat The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. Former Bloodline member Jey Uso has teamed up with Reign's former rival, Cody Rhodes, and the unlikely duo defeated The Judgment Day at Fastlane to become the new Undisputed Tag Team Champions.
Ahead of tonight's show, John Cena took to social media to promote Reigns' return to SmackDown. The Bloodline's Paul Heyman reacted to Cena's post and noted that even Cena acknowledges The Tribal Chief. However, Heyman referred to Cena as "the second greatest of all time" in his post seen below:
"Even the SECOND Greatest of All Time @JohnCena ACKNOWLEDGES The Undisputed #GOAT @WWERomanReigns!," he posted.
WWE Superstar John Cena shares his honest thoughts on Roman Reigns
John Cena recently claimed that Roman Reigns was the greatest of all time.
The writers' strike in Hollywood brought about Cena's return to the company. The Cenation Leader has clarified that he doesn't want to act and wrestle simultaneously and will return to Hollywood when the time comes.
Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling ahead of the Superstar Spectacle event last month, the 16-time world champion praised The Head of the Table. He claimed that Reigns is the greatest superstar in history:
"In my perspective, I think Roman Reigns is the greatest of all time," Cena replied.
WWE's next premium live event on the schedule is Crown Jewel on November 4th in Saudi Arabia. It will be fascinating to see if Roman Reigns will defend the title at the premium live event and which superstar will get a shot to end his dominant reign as champion.
