Bloodline member's name officially changed by WWE on SmackDown in Roman Reigns' absence

A Bloodline member has undergone a name change, which was made official during Roman Reigns' absence. The change took place in the middle of the ring during SmackDown.

Since Roman Reigns disappeared from WWE following his loss at WrestleMania, Solo Sikoa has consolidated his power as the new Tribal Chief of the group by bringing in allies in the form of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Both have some work in front of them now, as they will have to pick up the slack with Kevin Owens and others all looking to put them in their place.

They have been dominant, however, and tonight on SmackDown, in typical Bloodline fashion, one of them went through a name change.

Solo Sikoa was out with the two Tongans and Paul Heyman to open SmackDown. The Wise Man announced that Tama Tonga's name was officially being changed. Similarly to how Jey Uso was called the Right-Hand Man of Roman Reigns, Tama will now go by the same name.

His name is now officially Tama Tonga - The Right-Hand Man.

With this name change, it appears that Sikoa is copying what Reigns had done previously with Jey Uso. Though the latter eventually betrayed him, fans will have to wait to see how this plays out.

The Bloodline is going through multiple changes in Roman Reigns' absence

The Bloodline has been going through changes since Reigns took a step back.

Jimmy Uso was kicked out, and Tama Tonga was brought in. Tonga Loa also came in later, while Solo Sikoa named himself the new Tribal Chief.

Although Sikoa has said he's the only one talking to Reigns, he's provided no proof of the same.

Given that Paul Heyman has not been in touch with the Head of the Table, fans will have to wait to see what happens when he finally returns.
