Reigns has been absent from television since his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL. During his time away, The Bloodline has completely changed and Solo Sikoa has assumed temporary leadership.

The WWE Universe has made it known that they miss The Tribal Chief, and have started to chant his name on SmackDown.

WWE Hall of Famer comments on Paul Heyman's role in the company

Wrestling legend Teddy Long recently praised Paul Heyman and claimed that The Wiseman of The Bloodline has matured a lot over the years.

Teddy Long participated in this year's WWE Draft and spotted Heyman helping superstars backstage. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast with Bill Apter and Mac Davis, Long spoke highly of Heyman and noted that the veteran was helping out backstage as much as he could.

"He's really matured a lot," Long stated. "I mean, his job, I see him helping the guys out as much as he can. He's got a spot right there in Gorilla [backstage area], and so a lot of guys go over and talk to him before they go out for their matches and stuff. I see Paul, yeah, very mature, man. He's doing good." [9:27 – 9:43]

It remains unknown when Roman Reigns will be returning to the company. There have been recent rumors that The Head of the Table would be returning ahead of SummerSlam, however, he was recently pulled from advertisements for the go-home edition of SmackDown ahead of the premium live event on August 3.
