Bloodline star finally gets his first singles match in WWE after RAW goes off the air
It might surprise you to know that one particular Bloodline star has only just wrestled his first official singles match for WWE. After RAW went off the air, a major dark match took place.
The chaotic finish of RAW saw involvement from The Bloodline, with Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa interfering and costing Jey Uso the Intercontinental Championship. It was Jacob Fatu who was the difference-maker as he took Jey out and sent him through a table – giving Bron Breakker a win and his second Intercontinental Title.
Jacob Fatu, who debuted exactly four months ago on SmackDown, surprisingly hadn't wrestled a singles match. That changed when he faced Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship in a Philadelphia Street Fight on RAW.
The match was reportedly fantastic, which shouldn't come as a surprise. Cody Rhodes picked up the pin and the win to hand Fatu a major loss.
But Fatu's lack of singles matches can likely be explained by his association with The Bloodline and the need to protect him at all costs. Despite not being the leader or the Tribal Chief, WWE has opted to protect him over even Solo Sikoa.
It goes to show how valuably he is viewed and his role on RAW turned out to be the most important one.
Fatu's face-off with Bron Breakker got a huge reaction – meaning we've been given a taste for a future match down the line.
