Bo Dallas shares heartbreaking revelation about current WWE character
WWE Superstar Bo Dallas recently opened up about his current character. The real-life Taylor Michael Rotunda is currently playing the characters of Bo Dallas and Uncle Howdy on Monday Night RAW.
The former RAW Tag Team Champion returned to WWE television as Uncle Howdy on the June 17 edition of the red brand's show for the first time following Bray Wyatt's passing. He was accompanied by fellow members of The Wyatt Sicks.
In an interview with Chris McPherson of Collider, Bo Dallas stated that 2024 has been a great year. The 34-year-old revealed that he initially thought everything he had planned with his brother Bray Wyatt was taken away from him. However, as things panned out, it made him feel like The Eater of Worlds was still there with him.
"It’s been an absolutely insane year. Me and Windham had big plans when we got together, and we had a lot we were going to do. I thought that was all taken away, but through a lot of sequence of events, it’s like he’s still here with me. I always have something on that’s directly his, whether it’s his shoes, a pair of his socks, a glove—like he’s with me in every bit of this. I couldn’t do this if it wasn’t something I knew he would love. And I’m loving it too—it’s keeping him alive in my heart, in my life," he said.
Bo Dallas further made an emotional revelation about playing Uncle Howdy. He stated that playing the character is his escape and a way to be with his late brother.
"There’s a lot of emotions, especially going into it. I didn’t know where my mind would be actually getting out there. But after the first night, as soon as the piano hit, as soon as I saw the crowd, it’s like Windham was just with me. Although I’m under a mask, that was real. When I have that mask on, I am Uncle Howdy. It’s become more than a wrestling character—it’s my escape and a way to be with Windham." [H/T: Collider]
Bo Dallas confirms former WWE Champion as The Wyatt Sicks' target
The Wyatt Sicks member Dexter Lumis nabbed The Miz from his tour bus last week. On the latest edition of WWE RAW, The Wyatt Sicks confirmed that they successfully abducted The A-lister.
In a video segment that aired live during the show, the former WWE Champion insisted that The Wyatt Sicks were looking for The Final Testament, but he was not associated with the heel faction. However, Bo Dallas made it clear that they were not interested in The Final Testament and only wanted The Miz.
The Wyatt Sicks' had a feud with Chad Gable, as he betrayed Alpha Academy. The mysterious group dominated the 38-year-old and his faction, American Made. The Miz also turned on R-Truth to join forces with The Final Testament. It remains to be seen if The Awesome One will meet a fate similar to Master Gable.
