Bobby Lashley shares emotional message following WWE exit
Bobby Lashley shared an emotional message ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown. The veteran was removed from the promotion's active roster earlier this year.
The All Mighty has not competed in a televised match since the April 12 edition of SmackDown and has not wrestled for the company since defeating Santos Escobar during a World Wrestling Entertainment Live Event on May 5.
Ahead of tonight's edition of the blue brand, Lashley took to his Instagram story to share a message. You can check out the former champion's story by clicking here.
"I move like everything is gonna workout. Because it is," shared Lashley.
Bobby Lashley was a part of the popular Hurt Business faction in WWE, alongside MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander. MVP was also removed from the company's active roster earlier this year and made an appearance during this past Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite.
Cedric Alexander is the only remaining member of The Hurt Business still in WWE, and reportedly signed a new contract with the Stamford-based promotion.
WWE veteran comments on Bobby Lashley's exit from company
Wrestling legend, Dutch Mantell, recently shared his thoughts on Bobby Lashley's exit from the WWE.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Mantell noted that Lashley was getting older, and his body would only hold up for so long. The veteran added that he would have a difficult time coming up with ideas for the 48-year-old if he was booking a show today.
"He is close to 50 years old, isn’t he? Sometimes you gotta have an exit strategy anyway. I mean, your body is only going to hold up for so long. He’s in great shape, I am not saying he’s not but still. Bobby Lashley has been around a long time. If I were a booker and Bobby Lashley came in, I would actually be stretching my imagination to think what to do with him," he said. [From 51:09 onwards]

A recent report suggested that Lashley could be joining MVP in All Elite Wrestling soon. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the veteran in the world of professional wrestling.
