Bobby Lashley spoils potential move for returning WWE Superstar

A returning WWE Superstar could potentially join Bobby Lashley's faction on SmackDown.

Bobby Lashley has paired up with The Street Profits on the blue brand. While the partnership hasn't resulted in many victories for Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, they have received some nice new suits so far.

B-Fab was a part of the Hit Row faction, but that group has been absent from the programming following WWE's release of Top Dolla last month. She recently approached Bobby Lashley during a backstage segment on SmackDown, and the two had a private conversation.

Speaking on the After the Bell podcast, Bobby Lashley stated that the group has been considering adding a female member and noted that B-Fab was a very interesting woman.

"She’s [B-Fab] a very intelligent woman. She’s a very interesting woman, that’s what I have to say about that. Since I’ve come together with The Street Profits, a lot of people have hit me up on social media, or they’ve just walked up to me at the show and trying to say, 'Hey man, I’d love to join your group or see what you guys have.' Of course, we’re open to hearing any suggestions. We did toy around with having a female join the group, and I’ve heard some different suggestions on that also," he said.

Lashley added that he's unsure if B-Fab will be joining, but she presented him with an interesting idea, and he wants to see if it will manifest into anything.

"B-Fab did come with something that was very interesting. I’m not quite sure we’re gonna work with her, but right now, what she did present to me last week was very interesting and I want to see if that can manifest into anything," he added. [H/T Fightful]

WWE veteran Dutch Mantell comments on Bobby Lashley's match against Carlito on SmackDown

Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell was not a fan of the match between Bobby Lashley and Carlito this past Friday night.

Lashley battled Carlito on SmackDown and won after The Street Profits interfered. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Dutch Mantell praised the show overall but claimed that the match between the two veterans on WWE SmackDown was boring.

"I actually enjoyed the show. That first match, though, with Bobby Lashley and Carlito, that was, to me, very boring. They slowed it down. How old is Bobby Lashley? 40? [...] Late 40s? How old is Carlito? Carlito is gotta be 40, isn't he? [...] But anyway, I thought that kind of drug a little bit in the end, and they cranked it up a little bit. I will give the whole show tonight a 'b' because it was decent," said Mantell. [From 18:54 onwards]

Lashley and The Street Profits are currently involved in a rivalry with the Latino World Order on WWE SmackDown. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the group and if B-Fab does get the opportunity to join down the line.
