Booker T scheduled to make an appearance with current AEW star

Booker T is set to make an appearance at an event in his hometown in Houston, Texas along with an AEW star. The WWE Hall of Famer will be sharing the spotlight with "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith.

As announced by Reality of Wrestling on X, formerly known as Twitter, Booker T will be present at a special meet and greet at Replay Games in Houston Heights. The legendary superstar will be available to meet fans from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time.

In addition to the 59-year-old star, AEW's Keith will be present along with Reality of Wrestling stars Mia Friday and Will Allday.

While it might be shocking for some fans to see Booker T alongside an AEW star, Bryan Keith is a product of the two-time WWE Hall of Famer's wrestling school. Keith is also a Houston native, just like his mentor.

Booker T won't be surprised to see Shane McMahon join AEW

One of the biggest headlines of the past week was Shane McMahon's viral photo with AEW Co-Owner Tony Khan, which was reportedly taken following a meeting between the two. McMahon has been linked to a potential move to AEW since Vince McMahon's son is a free agent presently.

On a recent episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T remarked that he wouldn't be shocked if Shane-O-Mac signs with AEW.

"I still think, in life, you don't want to just hang up the boots when you don't have to. If you can still be a part of something that you love and somebody's gonna pay you a whole lot of money to do it, you gonna pick the check up, no matter how much money you got in the bank. It's not smart to leave money on the table. That’s just me. So I definitely could see something like that happening. It's not something that's unbelievable," Booker said. [H/T - WrestleZone]

Since Vince McMahon was removed from TKO Group's board, Stephanie McMahon resigned from her position in WWE and Shane McMahon did not have any power backstage, there's not a single McMahon in the company. It allows Shane the freedom to pursue wrestling outside of WWE.
