Braun Strowman addresses whether he knew his partner at WrestleMania 34 would be a 10-year-old boy
Braun Strowman has commented on whether he was aware that he was going to team up with a 10-year-old boy at WWE WrestleMania 34. He handpicked the latter to be his partner.
The Monster of All Monsters didn't have anyone to tag with at the event. He was set to challenge Sheamus and Cesaro for the RAW Tag Team Championship, but he wasn't allowed to do so on his own. As a result, he chose a random boy called Nicholas from the crowd to be his tag team partner. They won the match and Nicholas made history by becoming the youngest champion in WWE history.
During a recent appearance on Ten Count Media, Braun Strowman said he had no idea who his partner was going to be, but he hinted that he wasn't telling the truth.
"Look, you don't ask David Copperfield how he makes the Statue of Liberty disappear, you just appreciate the spectacle. I had no idea (winks) what was going on when I went out there," he said. [0:15-0:30]
Vince Russo says the ring collapsing during Braun Strowman's match with Bronson Reed on WWE RAW wasn't believable
On the red brand this week, The Monster of All Monsters collided with Bronson Reed in a Last Monster Standing Match. The two stars brawled all over the arena. During the bout, Reed Superplexed Braun Strowman, and the ring broke a little bit. The ring posts collapsed and so did the ropes.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Vince Russo said the ring collapse was over the top and didn't look believable.
"It was just too much for me, bro. It was just way, way over the top. That ring collapse didn’t look anywhere near believable. It was almost like the exploding of the ring in AEW. That’s what it reminded me of."
Seth Rollins made a surprise return during the bout and attacked Bronson Reed, helping his former tag team partner get the victory.
