Braun Strowman provides scary health update just months after WWE return

Braun Strowman recently opened up about his health, revealing how he faced certain issues just a few months after his WWE return. The Monster Among Men disclosed that he had a "banged up" knee for the last couple of weeks and would soon consult with a doctor to understand the severity of the situation.

Due to neck issues, the former Universal Champion had been on a sabbatical from WWE for over a year, from April 2023 to April 2024. Strowman was welcomed back with open arms by the fans, and he's been in a minor feud with The Judgment Day since then. He took on Damian Priest on this week's edition of RAW, where the World Heavyweight Champion secured the win in less than ten minutes.

In a recent chat with WWE Deutschland, Braun Strowman opened up about how his knees were "banged up" and that it hasn't allowed him to perform freely in the last few weeks on Monday Night RAW. The 40-year-old performer also mentioned that he had a doctor's appointment to check his knees.

"Knee’s a little banged up. I got a doctor’s appointment this week to get it checked out. It’s been bugging me a little bit. If you’ve noticed, I’ve been a little off step these last couple of weeks. There’s been some little tweak going on in there. When I caught it up on the top of that barricade, I felt something move in my kneecap so I had a bruise on my knee at the end of the match and stuff like that so, not using it as an excuse or anything like that but, it sure as heck didn’t help me not get beat." WWE Superstar Braun Strowman wants to face Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 41

In the same interview, Braun Strowman also opened up about wanting to face The Scottish Warrior for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 41. Strowman pointed out how both he and Drew McIntyre were massive forces of nature and that they deserved to collide at the biggest stage possible.

"Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship. He and I have talked about this, and [have] wanted this, and [have] been close to getting it. It hasn't happened, but I think he and I need a good feud that has a payoff at WrestleMania. We're both two larger-than-life titans walking on this earth with the rest of these peasants in the locker room. I think it's time they gave the big boys the spotlight. Let us go out there and let us do what we do," Strowman said.

Drew McIntyre is currently suspended from WWE, though it's expected to be revoked before SummerSlam 2024, where he's likely to face CM Punk.
