Braun Strowman shows off brutal wounds following recent Bronson Reed attacks
WWE Superstar, Braun Strowman, showed off his battle wounds following recent attacks by Bronson Reed on RAW. The former Universal Champion competed in the main event of this past Monday's edition of the red brand.
The Monster of All Monsters won a Triple Threat Qualifying Match on September 2 to advance in the Intercontinental Championship tournament to determine the number-one contender. He competed in the Fatal Four-Way match this past Monday night to determine Bron Breakker's next challenger.
Bronson Reed returned during the main event and hit Strowman with a Tsunami Splash through the commentary table. The 41-year-old took to his Instagram story today to share a clip of his battle scars, following the attacks by the former North American Champion. You can check out the video by clicking here.
"Ain't gonna stop me though," he wrote.
Reed was supposed to compete in the tournament to determine the number-one contender for the Intercontinental Championship but was pulled after being diagnosed with COVID-19.
Braun Strowman approached Adam Pearce and offered to replace Reed, despite being hit with a Tsunami Splash on top of a car the week prior. However, Bronson Reed returned on RAW during the Fatal Four-Way Match and cost Strowman his opportunity to challenge for the Intercontinental Championship.
Bronson Reed reveals reason for recent attack on WWE RAW
Bronson Reed unleashed a heinous attack on Seth Rollins on the RAW following SummerSlam, and recently explained his actions.
The Visionary served as the Special Guest Referee for the singles match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre last month at WWE SummerSlam. Punk hit Rollins with a GTS during the match at the premium live event, and the former World Heavyweight Champion attempted to confront the 45-year-old on the following episode of WWE RAW.
However, Big Bronson showed up and hit Rollins with a bunch of Tsunami Splashes, and the 38-year-old has not returned to RAW since. In a backstage interview last month, Reed shared that he attacked The Visionary to prove that he was a top star in WWE.
"You already know why. I have been telling the whole world that I am one of the best in this business week after week and it’s been falling on deaf ears. Tonight, I did what I had to do. I crushed one of WWE’s golden boys. I hit Tsunami after Tsunami after Tsunami on [Seth] Rollins to show you all that I am not here to play around. The killer is unleashed and Bronson Reed is at the very top of this business," he said.
