Bray Wyatt's sister Mika shares a heartbreaking message on Instagram
Mika Rotunda, the sister of the late Bray Wyatt, has penned a heartfelt message remembering her brother. She also shared a throwback picture with her departed brother.
Bray tragically passed away at 36 on August 24, 2023. He suffered a heart attack and died in his sleep. Wyatt's sister, Mika, has shared several posts on Instagram in memory of her brother over the past year or so.
She shared a lengthy post mere minutes ago, pointing out that October marked 14 months since Bray's untimely passing. Check out an excerpt from her post:
"They say there are 5 phases of it. Grief that is. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Last month marked 14 months. Feels impossible that I haven’t heard his laugh or hugged his sweaty neck. Or had him burst through my front door, talking too loud. Bringing with him this contagious and instantaneous burst of energy to talk about any and everything."
Mika also shared a heartbreaking story involving Bray Wyatt's daughter
Further in her post, Mika shared an emotional story about her interaction with Bray's daughter, Kendyl. Mika revealed that she recently shed tears in front of her, and the 11-year-old asked her why she was crying.
Mika wrote that she wanted to tell her niece that her dad was amazed by her but couldn't get the words out of her mouth. Rotunda then wrote that she was sure Kendyl got the message.
Bray Wyatt was one of the most beloved stars in WWE and pro wrestling. He did incredibly well during his two runs in the Stamford-based promotion, winning the WWE Championship on one occasion and the Universal Championship twice.
