Bret Hart roasts Gunther on RAW before 40-year-old star appears to take out the World Heavyweight Champion

Gunther interrupted Bret Hart on RAW tonight and trolled him by mentioning his all-time favorite - Bill Goldberg. However, Hart would roast the World Heavyweight Champion right back, and another superstar came to take him out.

This week on RAW, Bret Hart's appearance was cut short by Gunther, who decided to crack a little joke. Sami Zayn came out and defended the WWE legend, stating that people still study his matches to this day. When it came to a World Heavyweight Championship shot, The Ring General once again declined Sami Zayn.

Bret Hart went on to call Gunther a "yellow coward" before the 40-year-old star, Sami Zayn, successfully took him out.

It appears as though Sami Zayn is poised to be next in line for a World Heavyweight Title shot. However, unlike the Intercontinental Title earlier this year, The Ring General could end up the victor.

It will be interesting to see where this World Championship program heads. All signs seem to point towards a rematch between the two for Bad Blood 2024.

Bret Hart and Sami Zayn had a great moment together on RAW. If you recall, over nine years ago, it was Hart who introduced Sami Zayn to WWE television against John Cena.
