Bron Breakker breaks silence after losing the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Jey Uso

This past Monday on WWE RAW, Bron Breakker lost the Intercontinental Championship to Jey Uso. The former NXT Champion recently broke his silence after dropping the title.

At the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Breakker won the Intercontinental Championship by defeating Sami Zayn. He then successfully defended the title against Zayn in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match on August 12, 2024 episode of RAW.

In the main event of the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, Jey defeated Breakker to win the Intercontinental Championship, ending the rising star's reign after 51 days. The former champion shared a workout video on his Instagram story and broke his silence with a three-word message.

"Recharge, Refocus, E.A.T.," Breakker wrote.

Vince Russo believes Bron Breakker should've held the Intercontinental Championship longer

Vince Russo thinks Bron Breakker should've retained the WWE Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night RAW.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's latest edition of Legion of RAW, Russo suggested that WWE should've built up the 26-year-old superstar's momentum and needed to keep the title on him. The veteran writer also questioned WWE's booking decision to have Jey dethrone Breakker for the Intercontinental Title.

"They needed to build Bron Breakker. They needed to leave a title on him. I don't even... I'm not guessing; I know he put some kind of heat on himself, and they had to take the belt off him to teach him and make sure he knows who's boss. That booking decision makes zero sense."

Since moving up to the main roster from NXT, Breakker has defeated several top names, including Sami Zayn and Ilja Dragunov. The former NXT Champion quickly established his place as one of the biggest heels in the company.

It remains to be seen if WWE intends to continue the feud between Breakker and Jey Uso by booking a potential rematch in the future.
