Bron Breakker discusses hobby outside WWE, wants Steve Austin to join
One of WWE's biggest icons is Stone Cold Steve Austin. Having officially retired in 2003 and barring his one-off against Kevin Owens in 2022, Austin has ventured into other businesses, which includes hosting his own podcast. He also previously owned the 2,000-acre "Broken Skull Ranch" in Tilden, Texas, but sold it in 2017. He presently owns another property he calls "Broken Skull Ranch 2.0" in Nevada.
Bron Breakker is a young stalwart in professional wrestling currently performing on WWE RAW, where he holds the prestigious Intercontinental Championship.
During a recent interview with TV Insider, he was asked about being outdoorsy. Breakker talked about his love for hunting and especially fishing. When asked who he would love to do either of those activities with, he named the legendary WWE Hall of Famer:
"I feel like I would love to go on a hunt with Steve Austin. Maybe take him fishing," Bron Breakker said. "I always had an interest in getting my own fishing show or doing something like that because I love to bass fish. That might be something one day. We’ll see." [H/T: TVInsider.com]
He is booked for the upcoming episode of RAW in the Moody Center, Austin, Texas, for a title defense. Sami Zayn has a shot at regaining the Intercontinental Championship from Bron Breakker in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match.
Bron Breakker on what the WWE Intercontinental Championship means to him
At SummerSlam inside Cleveland Browns Stadium, Bron Breakker won his first title on the main roster in mere months after getting promoted from NXT.
Talking about winning the second-oldest belt in WWE history, Breakker claimed that this was only the beginning. However, he added that it means a great deal, but it could go either way:
"It’s a crucial part of my career right now. This is a turning point right now, whether it will go one way or another. Since the beginning, I have had a lot of work to do. We’re just getting started." [H/T: TVInsider.com]
Breakker also expressed a desire to wrestle WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker and John Cena recently. He noted that if The Phenom has the itch to step back into the ring, the legend can find him.
As for John Cena, Breakker hopes to face the iconic star next year during his Farewell Tour. Bron claimed that he is the right choice to retire Cena as he will be a locker room leader within the next decade.
