Bron Breakker's WWE Money in the Bank match will set up a SummerSlam fight, says veteran (Exclusive)
Bron Breakker is set to face Sami Zayn at the WWE Money in the Bank, with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. While it may appear to be the final showdown between them, NWA Hall of Famer Bill Apter thinks that this is just a setup for another match at SummerSlam.
Bron Breakker has often been shown to have a volatile temper. While it usually works in his favor, coupled with his incredible speed and strength, veteran journalist Bill Apter believes this same temper could prove to be his hubris.
In the latest episode of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Bill Apter was asked about his predictions for the Intercontinental title match at WWE Money in the Bank. He stated:
"I have got a different result. One of the bad things about Bron Breakker is his aggressiveness and his temper. And I think during this match when he fails to pin Sami Zayn a bunch of times, he's gonna go crazy with spears and wind up getting himself disqualified, and we will see a rematch maybe at SummerSlam." WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long did not quite agree with Bill Apter
While Bill Apter certainly made a good point about Bron Breakker's temper, Teddy Long believes this would lead to a different outcome, although it was equally violent.
On the same episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, the WWE Hall of Famer stated that Bron Breakker would win the match. However, he would lose control after the bout to beat down Sami Zayn.
"Well I think Bron Breakker is gonna win. I think he's gonna take that belt off Sami Zayn and I think what may really happen after he does win I think he will just beat him to a pulp. You know what I mean, get the belt plus get a lot of heat." [6:19 onwards]
For now, fans will have to stay tuned to see what Bron Breakker plans to do in his fight against Sami Zayn.
