Bronson Reed makes light of recent injury; has hilarious reaction to threat

Bronson Reed is counting the days until he can resume his brutal takeover of WWE RAW. After a recent mishap, Reed was forced to go under the knife and suffer a major setback. He remains in good spirits for the most part. The Australian Superstar is still issuing savage threats but is also joking around with fans and one familiar face.

The King of Monsters was a few months into his singles push when he made his WarGames debut at Survivor Series. Recruited by Solo Sikoa due to his Samoan heritage, Bronson was impressed inside the double cage until he attempted a tsunami off the cage to put Roman Reigns through a table. CM Punk saved The Original Tribal Chief, and Reed landed hard as The OG Bloodline beat The New Bloodline. Reed unfortunately suffered an ankle injury and underwent surgery on December 11. The 36-year-old is out indefinitely and is expected to miss WrestleMania 41.

Reed had a somewhat playful exchange with female WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn earlier today, but things got a bit and confused some fans when Bronson threatened violence on the 30-year-old official. As covered before, the one-time NXT North American Champion was hit with the dreaded Lego death wish by the wife and former colleague of Leon Ruff.

Daphanie responded to the threat, hoping the 330-pound grappler would step on a Lego barefoot. Reed later took to X to joke about his ankle injury, noting that he only has one foot to hurt right now.

"Well it'd only be one foot atm [melting face emoji]," Bronson Reed wrote.

Reed has indicated that he will attend the RAW Netflix premiere in Los Angeles on January 6. However, he will be there to support the brand behind the scenes or film other material for the company, as he cannot get physical.

Bronson Reed jokes about his recovery and WWE hiatus

Bronson Reed is recovering from a serious ankle injury suffered inside WarGames at WWE Survivor Series in late November. He underwent surgery on December 11 in Alabama.

The WWE's Top Dog took to Instagram today and posted an edited comedy graphic showing him lying around his home while recovering. Reed joked that he's still here, and the photo serves as proof.

"Signs of life - Dec 2024," Bronson Reed wrote with the photo below.

Reed's first WWE run went from February 11, 2019, to August 6, 2021. He was brought back to RAW on December 19, 2022, and has been with the company since winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal this year.
