Bronson Reed mocks Seth Rollins following brutal attack on WWE RAW

Bronson Reed took a shot at Seth Rollins ahead of this week's episode of WWE RAW. Reed brutally attacked The Visionary on the August 5 edition of the red brand and hit him with several Tsunami Splashes.

Seth Rollins attempted to confront CM Punk on the RAW following WrestleMania but was attacked by Bronson Reed. The big man hit Rollins with a bunch of Tsunami Splashes, and the former World Heavyweight Champion has not returned to WWE RAW since. Rollins is a fan of the Chicago Bears, who defeated the Tennessee Titans in Week 1 of the NFL season today. Seth Rollins shared that he loved football following the win on social media, and Reed took a shot at him.

A wrestling fan sent a message to Reed and claimed that he couldn't wait for Rollins to get his revenge. The former North American Champion responded by saying Rollins is watching football today, and he should stick to that instead.

"The dude's watching football ... he should just stick to that," he wrote.

Bronson Reed was supposed to compete last Monday night but was pulled due to being diagnosed with COVID-19. Braun Strowman replaced him and won a Triple Threat match to advance in the Intercontinental Championship tournament on RAW. The Monster of All Monsters will be facing Ilja Dragunov, Pete Dunne, and Jey Uso tomorrow night on RAW to determine Bron Breakker's next opponent for the Intercontinental Championship.

Bill Apter claims WWE fans will be excited about Bronson Reed's return

Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently discussed Bronson Reed missing last week's edition of WWE RAW and claimed fans would be excited about his return.

Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Apter wasn't concerned about Reed missing last week's show. He suggested that fans would be excited about the 36-year-old's return because he is proving to be an entertaining villain on WWE RAW.

"What I'm glad they didn't do is work like an injury angle and say he is injured from that splash. They did not do that on Monday Night RAW unless I missed that. But no (if his momentum will take a hit), people are going to be excited to see him back because he is proving to be an excellent bad guy, a villain. I, for one, want to see him again." Reed hit Strowman with a Tsunami Splash on top of a car last month, but the former Universal Champion still served as his replacement on this past Monday's edition of RAW. It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for Reed's return down the line.
