Bronson Reed shares a heartbreaking update amid WWE injury hiatus
WWE Superstar Bronson Reed recently shared a heartbreaking post on social media amid his absence from weekly television. The RAW Superstar underwent surgery on his broken ankle last week and will be out of action for the foreseeable future.
The 36-year-old sustained the injury during the Men's WarGames Match. Having joined forces with the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline for the premium live event, Reed tried to nail Roman Reigns, lying on a table, with a Tsunami from the top of the cage. However, CM Punk pulled The OTC out of harm's way. Unfortunately, Bronson fractured his ankle as he went crashing through the table.
Earlier today, the former North American Champion took to his Instagram account to post a picture of a scene from the 1954 movie Rear Window. The Aussie compared his current situation with the film's protagonist, played by James Stewart, a photographer confined to a wheelchair:
"Me RN," wrote Reed.

Former WWE Manager shares his honest opinion on Bronson Reed's devastating injury
Unfortunately, Bronson Reed was not the only star to get injured in the WarGames Match. While Jimmy Uso broke his toe, Tonga Loa injured his bicep inside the dreaded structure.
Speaking about the multiple injuries, wrestling veteran Jim Cornette pointed out that the wrestling promotion showing the X-rays of the injured stars was good for business as it made wrestling look dangerous. However, the 63-year-old questioned WWE's decision to have Reed take such a huge risk and perform the Tsunami off the top of the cage:
"The one good thing they did on these [injuries is] they showed the X-rays. They highlighted where the injury took place [...] It's good for the business. [It] makes it look dangerous. It's not good for the talent. But that's the point. They've spent all this time and effort in getting Bronson Reed over. He's a bigger star than he's ever been. They got the splash off the top rope over as death. Why did he need to come off the top of the cage?" he questioned. [3:08 - 3:50]
