Bronson Reed takes a shot at female WWE star ahead of RAW
Although Bronson Reed failed to win it in Saudi Arabia last month, he is still determined to become WWE Intercontinental Champion. Chad Gable could not get the job done in Glasgow this past weekend as Sami Zayn is still in possession of the belt. So perhaps it is up to Reed now.
Clash at the Castle was notable for the match between Gable and Zayn. In the closing moments of the title contest, the champion had tossed the challenger onto Maxxine Dupri, leading to her screaming in agony.
Taking to X/Twitter, Bronson Reed mocked Maxxine Dupri, Chad Gable, and Sami Zayn by using a picture clicked at the aforementioned moment. In the picture though, Maxxine is replaced by the character Peter Griffin Sr. from the Family Guy series.
Sami Zayn had successfully defended the belt against Gable and Reed at King and Queen of the Ring on May 25. He signaled to the Alpha Academy leader that the latter's chances at facing him have now run out and that there won't be a next time.
However, that is perhaps not the case with the Aussie. It remains to be seen if Bronson Reed gets another shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Bronson Reed claims Rhea Ripley was a fan of his long before WWE
Prior to taking time off, Rhea Ripley held the Women's World Championship for an entire year. Her storyline with Liv Morgan on WWE RAW is still going strong in spite of her absence, as the latter has managed to win the title and start a romantic angle with Ripley's on-screen boyfriend Dominik Mysterio.
The Eradicator is currently out of action due an injury and appears to be spending quality time with her fiance Buddy Matthews.
Growing up in Australia, she was a huge fan of Bronson Reed. The latter spoke about this during an episode of Xavier Woods' UpUpDownDown YouTube channel. He added that she used to come to shows to watch him wrestle:
"Rhea was obviously here just before me, but when I was wrestling on the indies in Australia, she was a fan in the crowd watching me. And so she was like a big fan, and I'm sure she will admit it. But she used to come to the shows and stuff. and that inspired her to start training. I got to watch her be a fan in the crowd, start training, and then go to WWE. So it is like, weird to see that sort of stuff," he said.
Bronson Reed is a former NXT North American Champion and is yet to win a singles title on the main roster. It remains to be seen if that happens in the coming weeks.
