Buddy Matthews sends a four-word message after wife Rhea Ripley copies his look at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
Rhea Ripley paid tribute to her husband Buddy Matthews as she copied his look at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. The AEW Superstar acknowledged the same as he sent a four-word message on Instagram after the show.
Mami was part of this year's Women's WarGames match, where she picked up a win for her team after putting Liv Morgan through a table. Ripley was also sporting a unique new look, as she wore a mask and attire that looked similar to what Buddy Matthews wears as a member of the House of Black in AEW. Furthermore, Rhea's eye paint was also very much like what Buddy often dons. She even acknowledged that her husband inspired her look.
Matthews also posted pictures of the couple in similar attire on Instagram after WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. He even asked fans to come up with a name for their tag team.
"Name the Tag Team," Buddy posted.
Rhea Ripley commented on her win at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
Rhea Ripley once again outlasted Liv Morgan, pinning the Women's World Champion to secure her team's victory in the Women's WarGames match. In the post-match interview, Mami reflected on the win, noting that Morgan and her fans could keep crying.
"I mean it felt absolutely amazing. I have been there before and I have done it again. I have proved myself time and time again. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better team to help me along the way. We went into war and we came out victorious and Liv, that little possum and her little fanbase can…cry about it."
Rhea Ripley has pinned Liv Morgan clean twice in the last few months. She is also likely to get another title shot against the champion. However, Morgan will first have to go through Iyo Sky as the Japanese star is the current #1 contender for the Women's World Championship. We will likely get a clearer picture of the equation on WWE RAW this week, where we will see the fall out from Survivor Series.
