Carmelo Hayes tears sign of young fan at WWE event; fan gives shocking reaction

SmackDown Superstar Carmelo Hayes had a surprising interaction with a young fan at a recent WWE event. The fan also reacted to the interaction.

Carmelo Hayes first gained traction during his time in NXT. During this time, Hayes was one of the top stars on the brand and won the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Championship.

His performances earned him a main roster call-up. Since being promoted to the main roster, Hayes has been involved in some amazing matches and storylines. His recent series of matches against Andrade showcase just what he is capable of in the ring. Hayes has shown that he is one of the top heels in the company.

Currently, Hayes is on tour with WWE. During a live event, a young fan held a sign asking for someone to rip it. Hayes obliged the fan and ripped the sign in half. The young fan immediately responded to Hayes by flipping him off. The former NXT star posted a clip of the interaction to his social media with a caption which read:

"First day of tour. Love making new fans."

Carmelo Hayes is coming off a major loss at WWE Crown Jewel 2024

Carmelo Hayes has been involved in a heated feud with Andrade over the past few months. This feud has provided for several entertaining matches. Even LA Knight found himself involved in this feud after Hayes attacked him backstage.

For their seventh match, after their previous win-loss record stood at three apiece, LA Knight served as the special guest referee. However, he quickly got involved in the match and took out both men, leading to a no-contest. Following the match, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis informed him that he would defend his United States Championship against both Andrade and Hayes at Crown Jewel.

Despite the odds stacked against him, Knight was able to pick up the win and retain his title.

Hayes is still finding his footing on SmackDown but has already delivered some impressive performances in recent weeks.
