Casual fans did not know who Bo Dallas was during Uncle Howdy segment, feels ex-WWE writer (Exclusive)

This week's episode of RAW had a shocking segment featuring Uncle Howdy and Bo Dallas. Former WWE writer Vince Russo reviewed the show and felt there were ways to make the angle better.

This week on RAW, the Wyatt Sicks delivered a VHS tape to Michael Cole. This revealed an interview conducted by Uncle Howdy. He spoke with Bo Dallas, asking him some difficult questions about coping with the loss of his late brother Bray Wyatt.

On the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo detailed that casual fans might not even know who Bo Dallas was and how he was related to Bray Wyatt. He felt WWE needed to have Michael Cole explain the situation to the fans to lend more credibility to the segment.

"You watched the Bo Dallas stuff. How many people watching that knew who Bo Dallas was? That's why I'm saying Michael Cole had to come and explain that. I guarantee you there were tens of thousands of people that did not know that was Bo Dallas and had no idea who it was. These things are important bro, they're very, very important." [28:16 onwards]

During the interview, Bo Dallas told Uncle Howdy that everyone wanted to forget about Bray Wyatt, his legacy, and everybody involved. Bo felt that everyone remembered them only after the Wyatt Sicks resurfaced.

It will be interesting to see how this storyline morphs and develops in the weeks leading up to Money in the Bank and SummerSlam.
