Cathy Kelley reacts to the angry fallout of 11-time champion; demands popular WWE personality to intervene

The September 16, 2024, episode of WWE RAW saw an 11-time WWE champion go out of control after a title match loss. The champion lost his cool after losing a match he had seemingly won. The man in question is Xavier Woods, whose angry outbursts have worried Cathy Kelley.

The New Day was up against The Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh and Finn Balor to dethrone them as the World Tag Team Champions. Woods was keen on winning the match and even asked Jey Uso and The Terror Twins not to interfere, even if Judgment Day arrived.

However, his teammate Kofi Kingston had already asked the Latino World Order for help if the heel faction intervened. Because of this, the referee was forced to attend the commotion by the ringside and failed to see Woods pinning JD McDonagh. Following this, Finn Balor flattened Woods with a Coup de Grace and won the match.

Xavier Woods threw an outburst in the ring that intensified backstage when Kingston told him he had asked the LWO for help. Seeing the chaos between the New Day members, Cathay Kelly demanded the intervention of Dr. Shelby via a tweet on X.

“wheres’s dr. shelby when you need him 😭,” wrote Kelley.

Dr. Shelby has been an on-screen crisis manager for WWE superstars and has previously helped Kane and Daniel Bryan get on the same page. As a result, the duo formed Team Friendship, which eventually became Team Hell NO.

He also helped Bayley and Sasha Banks in July 2018 after then-WWE RAW General Manager Kurt Angle ordered a mandatory counseling session.

It would be interesting to see how The New Day emerges from this rocky phase and if Dr. Shelby comes over after listening to Cathy Kelly’s SOS call.
