Chad Gable reflects on career-ending injury to former WWE tag team partner

Chad Gable recently reflected on the career-ending injury to his former tag team partner in WWE. The veteran is currently the leader of the American Made faction on WWE RAW.

In an interview with Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, the RAW star discussed the career-ending injury to his former American Alpha teammate, Jason Jordan. The 35-year-old appeared poised to become a singles star after his run in American Alpha. He was introduced as RAW General Manager Kurt Angle's son, but the storyline was short-lived as Jordan suffered a neck injury.

Jordan has not competed since 2018 and currently works as a producer for WWE. Gable noted that Jordan received criticism for his storyline with Kurt Angle but was hitting his stride before the untimely injury. He added that he is happy whenever Jordan is assigned to his matches as a producer on WWE television.

"Right before his injury, he was peaking, and he was getting all these awesome singles matches. He had wrestled Cena, he was wrestling all these guys, just killing it. What an unfortunate end, but thankfully he’s taken on a producer position and he’s just, like, every time he tells me that he’s got my segment or my matches it’s music to my ears," he said. Bill Apter believes WWE faction is secretly trying to recruit Chad Gable

Wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently suggested that The Wyatt Sicks are trying to recruit Chad Gable on RAW.

The Wyatt Sicks made their in-ring debut in the main event of last week's show and defeated American Made (Gable and The Creed Brothers) in a 6-man tag team match. During a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's UnSKripted show, Apter stated that the mysterious faction may actually be trying to get Gable to join them.

"I think what's going to happen is that they are going to lure Chad Gable into their group, and that group is going to feud with whatever is the surviving members of the Alpha Academy. So you are gonna have the Alpha Academy as the babyfaces supposedly, but then again the fans are going crazy about the Wyatt Family. They kind of look at them as babyface heels." [11:20 onwards]
