WWE Superstar Asuka also recently went down with a knee injury as well. The Empress of Tomorrow was supposed to compete in this year's Queen of the Ring tournament but was ruled out due to injury.

Dakota Kai replaced Asuka but lost to Lyra Valkyria in the first round of the tournament. Kai also competed in a Money in the Bank qualifying match this past Monday night on RAW, but Zoey Stark emerged victorious.

WWE Women's Champion Bayley comments on Charlotte Flair's injury

WWE SmackDown star Bayley recently discussed Charlotte Flair's injury and said she knows what the popular star is going through.

The Role Model has dealt with some injuries over the past few years but has bounced back nicely. She defeated her former Damage CTRL stablemate, Iyo Sky, at WrestleMania XL to become champion.

In an exclusive interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling, the 35-year-old commented on Flair's injury and said she understands how difficult the recovery process can be. Bayley added that she is excited for Flair's return to the ring down the line.

"I hate seeing people get hurt and injured and taken out, especially during this time of the year, and miss WrestleMania. Charlotte I've known for so long. I had her first match ever, so I was just in that position [injured] a couple of years ago and I know how hard it is. I'm excited to have her back, and I know she's itching for it," said Bayley.
