Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, and others react to injured WWE star's major recovery update after 5-month absence

Several current and former WWE personalities, including Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey, have recently reacted to an injured star's major recovery update on social media. The star being referred to is Shotzi.

The 32-year-old last competed inside the squared circle during the February 13, 2024, tapings of the developmental brand, where she locked horns with then NXT Women's Champion Lyra Valkyria. However, during the tapings, Shotzi unfortunately suffered an ACL injury, which has sidelined her from in-ring action for over five months now.

The former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion recently took to Instagram to provide a major recovery update. She posted a video of her first biodex test and wrote that she could not wait to return to in-ring competition.

Shotzi sent a message about getting major treatment amid her WWE absence

Shotzi recently took to her Instagram to provide an update amid her absence from WWE television. The star wrote that she wanted to get stem cell treatment for her back more than two years ago and mentioned that she finally got the opportunity to do it because of her ACL injury.

"In Mexico to finally get the stem cells I have been wanting since I hurt my back 2 and 1/2 years ago! Realizing that my knee injury is giving me the opportunity to finally heal my back has been a huge silver lining. Thank you @rejuvstem Thank you Universe. I am forever grateful. Here is to wrestling pain free when I come back! But first coconuts and cenotes!" wrote Shotzi.

Many fans want Shotzi to return to WWE television soon to win a major title on the main roster. It remains to be seen what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for the star's future.
