Charlotte Flair sends two-word message to Trish Stratus following major announcement

WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair sent a message to Trish Stratus today on social media following a major announcement. Stratus served as the host of Money in the Bank earlier this month.

Flair has been out since last December with a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus. She has been keeping her fans updated on social media during her recovery from the significant injury. Stratus took to social media today to share that she was excited about her upcoming episode of Biography: WWE Legends this weekend.

Flair reacted to the Hall of Famer's post and shared that she cannot wait to watch the show on Sunday night.

"Can’t wait!" she wrote.

Trish Stratus has not competed since her loss to Becky Lynch in a Steel Cage match at WWE Payback last year. Zoey Stark betrayed the veteran after the match and hit her with the Z360 in the middle of the ring.

Bill Apter suggests Charlotte Flair's return could be a problem for WWE star

Wrestling veteran Bill Apter believes Charlotte Flair's eventual return to WWE television could be an issue for Tiffany Stratton.

The Buff Barbie won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this month and can cash in for a title shot whenever she wants. Speaking on a recent edition of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Apter suggested that Stratton may have to deal with Flair when she returns to SmackDown.

"She did because she is the... Nothing wrong with any of the other ladies. I think Chelsea was very close, but in terms of marketing and viable for a match against one of the champions, it's gotta be her. She looked tremendous. She has got that athletic background. My question is, I don't know when this is gonna happen, but the woman's division has changed so much. What's gonna happen in your opinion when Charlotte Flair clicks that button and says, 'I am ready to come back,'" said Apter. [1:57 onwards]
