Charlotte Flair shares potential return tease amid WWE hiatus
WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair has seemingly shared a potential return tease today on social media. The Queen is currently out of action after suffering a major injury last year.
Charlotte Flair squared off against Damage CTRL's Asuka in a singles match last December on SmackDown. She suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during the bout and has not wrestled a match in 2024. Asuka also recently went down with a knee injury and is out of action as well.
Flair took to her Instagram account to share a new photoshoot but also attached an interesting message. She noted that she has time for one more vacation, which could mean she is set to return to the ring soon.
"We vibing with 1, 2 or 3? Time for one more vacay 🍊😏," she wrote.
Charlotte Flair has been sharing updates with fans during her road to recovery. She posted a video showing herself struggling to complete an intense workout earlier this week.
Wrestling veteran suggests Charlotte Flair's return would be a problem for WWE SmackDown star
Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter believes Charlotte Flair's return to WWE television could be an issue for Tiffany Stratton.
The 25-year-old emerged victorious in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this month and has guaranteed herself a future title shot. During a recent edition of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine show, Bill Apter noted that Stratton was a good choice to win the MITB briefcase but wondered what was going to happen once Flair returned to WWE television.
"She [Tiffany Stratton] did because she is the... Nothing wrong with any of the other ladies. I think Chelsea was very close, but in terms of marketing and viable for a match against one of the champions, it's gotta be her. She looked tremendous. She has got that athletic background. My question is, I don't know when this is gonna happen, but the woman's division has changed so much. What's gonna happen in your opinion when Charlotte Flair clicks that button and says, 'I am ready to come back,'" Apter said. [From 01:57 onwards]
Tiffany Stratton has recently pitched herself against Charlotte Flair as the main event of next year's WWE WrestleMania. Only time will tell when Flair will be cleared to return to the ring.
