Chelsea Green explains why controversial WWE title should return
WWE has disbanded several titles in the new era under the leadership of Triple H and co. Recently, Chelsea Green explained why the controversial Divas Championship should be brought back in the new era.
A few years ago, the Divas Championship was replaced with the WWE Women's Championship as the Women's Revolution ushered in a new era of superstars and a new title. However, Chelsea Green has been vocal about bringing back the Purple Butterfly championship for herself.
In an interview with DS Shin on Ring The Belle before Money in the Bank in Toronto, the interviewer asked Chelsea Green why she wants to bring back the controversial title. The star stated she wants it back due to the sheer amount of controversy around it.
"First of all, because that's a thing. It's a controversial take, and everybody's talking. I think that's why people don't understand that when you tweet about me, you're doing me a favor. You're making me go viral," Green said. (From 01:05 to 01:20)

WWE personality comments on a potential reunion with Chelsea Green
Chelsea Green's first run with the company wasn't eventful as she was abruptly released from the Stamford-based promotion. However, there was a silver lining when she was under the 'Robert Stone Brand' and the two had a decent run on NXT.
It's been over four years and the two stars have been on their separate journeys in the company. Robert Stone had different clients on NXT and Chelsea Green won championship gold alongside Sonya Deville. Nevertheless, the two are good friends and Stone teased a reunion.
In an interview with WWE Deutschland, the 40-year-old star spoke about Chelsea Green's rise in the promotion. The former TNA X-Division Champion also stated that he would be interested in reuniting with Green.
The former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion is on Friday Night SmackDown alongside Piper Niven. Meanwhile, Robert Stone is currently assisting Ava in her duties as the NXT General Manager.
