Chelsea Green gives 27-year-old WWE star a new nickname following attack on SmackDown

Chelsea Green gave a popular 27-year-old star a new nickname following an attack this past Friday night on WWE SmackDown. Green was defeated by Michin (Mia Yim) in a Dumpster Match earlier this month on the blue brand.

Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair successfully defended their Women's Tag Team Championship against Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend this past Friday night on SmackDown. Green and Piper Niven were ringside during the tag title match.

Legend booted Green over the announce table during the match, and the 33-year-old took to social media today to give her a new nickname following the attack on SmackDown.

"Lash Legend will be Lash Lifeless if she ever does that to me again!" Green wrote.

Chelsea Green and Piper Niven are former Women's Tag Team Champions. Green initially won the titles with Sonya Deville last year, but the veteran suffered a torn ACL, and Piper Niven replaced her. Niven and Green lost the Women's Tag Team Championship to Kayden Carter and Katana Chance in December 2023.

Vince Russo claims Chelsea Green is more valuable to the company than a popular WWE star

Former WWE writer Vince Russo recently suggested that Chelsea Green was more valuable to the promotion than Bayley.

The Role Model squared off against Nia Jax for the WWE Women's Championship earlier this month at Bad Blood but came up short. Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown on Backstage Pass, Russo praised Green and claimed she should be going after a singles title. The veteran added that he thought Green was much more valuable to the roster than Bayley.

"I'm hoping they think she doesn't need the belt because she is so entertaining and she doesn't need a belt. That's what I'm hoping but my god, you know, after this, we see Bayley and Nia Jax stuff in the ring, and to me, Chelsea Green's worth on this roster is 10 times that of Bayley," said Russo.

Green came close to winning the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this year, but Tiffany Stratton emerged victorious. Only time will tell what the promotion has planned for the former champion moving forward on WWE SmackDown.
