Chelsea Green names non-WWE stars she wants to wrestle (Exclusive)
While WWE has plenty of great names on its roster, Chelsea Green apparently would love to wrestle some other stars from World Wonder Ring Stardom. In a recent interview, she named several of these stars who are currently in WWE and some who are still in the Japanese Promotion.
Chelsea toured Japan twice in 2016, participating in several matches for World Wonder Ring Stardom. There, she defeated several stars and eventually lost to Kairi Hojo, who is currently signed to WWE as Kairi Sane. The experience certainly made an impression on her, as she recently named a few other stars she would love to wrestle from WWRS.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Emily Mae for Sportskeeda, Chelsea Green stated:
"Here's the thing like, now all the girls that I wrestled with are here. It was Asuka, as Kana. It was IYO, it was Kairi. I mean, even Giulia, like, all these amazing Japanese wrestlers are now here. The one person that I did wrestle in Stardom that is not here is Mayu (Iwatani). So that would be interesting. We also got Momo (Watanabe) that was really, really talented. So, I mean, honestly, the list goes on. If we went and watched all the Japanese companies right now, I could probably tell you 50. There are so many females in Japan that are so talented." Chelsea Green also commented on the chances of Matt Cardona returning to WWE
Chelsea Green would love to see her husband Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder, return to WWE and possibly team up with her.
In the same interview with Emily Mae for Sportskeeda, Chelsea was asked whether Matt would be making an appearance in the company. She stated:
"I don't know if I would work with him, but let's put a pin in that one, I am not sure. But I would obviously love to see him back. I mean ideally I would love to see him and Steph [De Lander] back together to do the GCW shtick. But you know, I would take him as my mix tag partner if I needed to."
As of now, it remains to be seen if Matt Cardona will indeed make an appearance at Money in the Bank.
