Chelsea Green reacts to being knocked out by newly signed WWE star
Chelsea Green was recently knocked out by a newly signed WWE star and has now reacted to the moment. The star being referred to is Giulia, a well-known name in the Indies who rose to prominence during her time in Stardom and NJPW.
She held various championships across both those promotions and established herself as one of the top female wrestlers in the world. After working for various promotions around the world, the Japanese sensation has now signed with WWE.
At NXT No Mercy, she made her highly anticipated debut when she came face-to-face with the current NXT Women's Champion, Roxanne Perez. This week on NXT, Perez addressed Giulia's debut but was interrupted by Chelsea Green. Green was running her mouth as usual when Giulia came out. She quickly knocked Green out and then had an intense staredown with Roxanne.
Following this incident, Chelsea took to social media to provide an excuse for how she got knocked out so easily.
"Clearly I was bending down to tie up my shoe and she took advantage!!"

Vince Russo wants Chelsea Green to turn babyface and dethrone Nia Jax
Ever since Chelsea Green's return to WWE, her booking has been lackluster to say the least. She is always getting into deep trouble only to be taken out by a much bigger star.
Apart from her disappointing stint as WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, Green has nothing to show for her return. Despite this, she remains one of the most popular women on the roster.
Hence, Vince Russo recently took to social media to slam Chelsea's booking, claiming that she has the potential to be a huge babyface star if she faces Nia Jax. He is also pushing for her to dethrone the Women's Champion.
"At what point do we stop fooling around and put the Woman's Title on @ImChelseaGreen. C'mon, bro, time after time you put the belt on people you deem "deserves it", Bailey, Zane, etc., but not Chelsea? Bro . . . no brainer. Put her in there with a heel, Nia, and you're looking at a huge babyface. Are you not seeing that?" he wrote.
It remains to be seen if WWE will consider pushing Chelsea Green as a singles star or if she will forever remain a punching bag for the top stars.
