Chelsea Green reacts to upcoming match against top champion

WWE Superstar Chelsea Green has gained a lot of popularity among fans in recent times. The 33-year-old recently unsuccessfully challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Title. The Hot Mess is set for another marquee match on next week's edition of SmackDown, which will emanate from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Green will lock horns with the reigning WWE Women's Champion Bayley in a non-title match next week. The match was officially confirmed by General Manager Nick Aldis after The Role Model challenged Chelsea Green to a one-on-one encounter during their backstage interaction on the May 17, 2024, episode of SmackDown.

Ahead of her showdown with The Role Model, the former Tag Team Champion took to her Twitter/X account and asked fans which outfit would look the best on her following her eventual win over the WWE Women's Champion. True to her gimmick, the 33-year-old asserted that she would look good in ''any and all colors!''

This week on the blue brand, Green accused the former Damage CTRL leader of ''sprinkling her bad juju'' all over them ahead of Piper Niven's Queen of the Ring match against Jade Cargill on the May 10 episode of SmackDown.

For those unaware, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven had a backstage interaction with Bayley last week. Later that night, Niven lost to Cargill in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament. Bayley responded to the jibe by challenging Chelsea to a one-on-one match next week on SmackDown.

“What color gear would I look best in when I beat @itsBayleyWWE? TRICK QUESTION! The answer is any and all colors. Duh xox!” she wrote.

Chelsea Green becomes WWE’s flagbearer in a major partnership!

WWE recently partnered with the United Services Organization (USO) for a joint event at the Mayport Naval Base. The organization is known for working with entertainers and conducting recreational events for the US Armed Forces and their families. The company chose Chelsea Green as its representative for the prestigious venture, and the talented wrestler opened up about it on X.

The 33-year-old was proud to be bestowed with such a big responsibility, and as her pictures suggest, she also had a good time at the event. Green has come a long way as a comedic heel in the promotion and has proven that she is deserving of all the attention thrown her way. It would be interesting to see how she fares against Bayley next week.
