Chelsea Green receives an apology from a big name
WWE Superstar Chelsea Green is being bashed left, right, and center on SmackDown following her dumpster match loss to Michin. Amid the harsh avoidance and the banter, a big name from TNA, Tom Hannifan, has issued an apology to Green.
Tom Hannifan is a popular pro wrestling commentator currently working for TNA. Notably, the promotion is Chelsea Green’s former workplace, where she established her stardom with her gimmick, The Hot Mess. However, during the live broadcast of a recent TNA show, Hannifan used the nickname to address another wrestler, Ash by Elegance.
The promotion took to X, repeating Tom Hannifan’s words and calling former WWE star Dana Brooke a hot mess again. But intervening to prevent the situation from escalating further, the commentator responded to the post and apologized to the real Hot Mess.
“Apologies to #TNA legend @ImChelseaGreen,” wrote Hannifan.
This would be a breath of fresh air for Green, who is currently being avoided on SmackDown by every superstar on the allegations that she stinks.
Chelsea Green receives a major Survivor Series role
The upcoming Survivor Series Premium Live Event will be held on November 30, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada. While the matches of the event are yet to be announced, Chelsea Green has received a big role to interact with the WWE Universe.
Notably, she has been chosen by the promotion for the 'Superstar Brunch Session' with fans. Reacting to this on X, Green thanked WWE for the opportunity and the gesture of appreciation.
“Survivor Series: WarGames brunch with me?! How could it get any better?! 🍳 🥓 👸🏻. FINALLY some appreciation for the future hall of famer & 2x tag team champion thanks to @onlocationexp! Get your package💥NOW💥 ⬇️⬇️,” wrote Green.
While The Hot Mess has received an official role in the PLE from the company, she had previously tried to forcibly insert herself in it. Moreover, she also claimed that Triple H had told her she would be hosting and main eventing Survivor Series but forgot to mention this in his time and location announcement for the PLE.
It would be interesting to see if Green can turn these lies into truth in the coming month to get a main event match or a hosting opportunity.
