Chelsea Green shares emotional message with her fans following her loss at WWE Money in the Bank 2024
WWE Superstar Chelsea Green recently sent out a message for her fans following her performance in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match. The former Women's Tag Team Champion put up an extraordinary show at the premium live event.
At Money in the Bank, Chelsea was among six superstars who participated in one of the most physical Women's Ladder Matches in the history of the company. Green tried to climb up the ladder first but was attacked by IYO SKY. Eventually, Lyra Valkyria, Zoey Stark, Naomi, and Tiffany Stratton joined in and the brawl continued for a while.
Towards the end, the 33-year-old star once again tried her luck as she attempted to climb up the ladder, but was unfortunately attacked by Stratton, who pushed her off the ladder and the Canadian star went through the tables outside of the ring. The Buff Barbie secured the victory by grabbing the briefcase.
Taking to her social media handle, Green sent out a message to her fans stating how hard she tried to win the MITB briefcase for the people of Canada.
"🇨🇦 CANADA, I TRIED FOR YOU. #TorontoScrewjob," wrote Green.

Chelsea Green on if she would like to see her husband return to WWE
WWE Superstar Chelsea Green shared her honest opinion on whether she would want her husband Matt Cardona to return to the company or not.
Matt Cardona aka Zack Ryder spent over 15 years with the company before he was released in 2020 due to pandemic budget cuts. Cardona went on to reinvent himself in the indie circuits, winning multiple championships in various companies.
While speaking in an interview with Emily Mae of Sportskeeda Wrestling, Green stated that although she isn't sure if she would get the opportunity to work with Cardona, she would definitely want him to make a return to WWE.
"I don't know if I would work with him, but let's put a pin in that one, I am not sure. But I would obviously love to see him back. I mean ideally I would love to see him and Steph [De Lander] back together to do the GCW shtick. But you know, I would take him as my mix tag partner if I needed to... I mean really anyone. 'Cause we don't really discriminate. We will take on girls. We'll take on guys, it doesn't need to be a mix tag team," she said. [From 0:37 onwards]
It would be interesting to see how things will work out for Chelsea Green down the line.
