CJ Perry (fka Lana) finally addresses rumors about dating WWE's Damian Priest
The WWE Universe was full of rumors and speculation on CJ Perry and Damian Priest coming out of WrestleMania XL. The former Lana of WWE and the former Judgment Day member appeared together in social media posts for more than one year, but the gossip picked up due to photos and videos from the busy weekend. Perry is now addressing rumors about the relationship.
The Archer Of Infamy was spotted with Perry at a RAW After WrestleMania post-show party, which fueled fan speculation. The former Ravishing Russian added to the rumors by sharing a congratulatory post on Priest's World Heavyweight Championship win, which included photos with Priest's family and some of their industry friends from the huge weekend in Philadelphia. The talk of Perry and Priest then seemed to die down.
Perry took to Instagram this morning to take a few fan questions. The 39-year-old Floridian was asked if she was dating the 42-year-old New York City native.
"No, I am not dating Damian Priest. [laughs] That is very much... that was a funny internet rumor. You know what's always really funny for me? If I post a guy... it's like: [shocked face] All my guy friends were cracking up in March and April, any time I posted them on [Instagram Story], they're like [worried face], and all the DMs are like, 'Is that your new boyfriend?' It's like, guys... I have guy friends, calm down," CJ Perry said.
Perry and AEW's Miro tied the knot on July 29, 2016, while both were in WWE. The former Rusev and Lana split during winter 2023 and are now divorced.
Damian Priest set for major WWE RAW match
Damian Priest is looking to become a two-time World Heavyweight Champion. His chase back to the title will really pick up on Monday's historic WWE RAW.
RAW is being taped today in Saudi Arabia for the first time ever, and it will air on Monday as usual. The episode will be headlined by a Fatal 4 Way to determine Gunther's next challenger for the title. Priest will do battle with Sheamus, Seth Rollins, and the former ally who beat him last week, Dominik Mysterio.
Priest's first reign began at WrestleMania XL when he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to dethrone Drew McIntyre just seconds after McIntyre captured the title from Rollins. The Archer of Infamy was dethroned by Gunther at SummerSlam after 118 days as champion.
