"Clearly delivering" - Current WWE Champion speaks highly of Dominik Mysterio
WWE's Biggest Party of The Summer is less than three weeks away and superstars are set to compete in Ohio. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes spoke highly of Dominik Mysterio's current run and sees himself in the second-generation star.
Dominik Mysterio has been around the business for a long time. However, it's only been a few years since the second-generation star stepped inside the square circle alongside Rey Mysterio. The former two-time North American Champion has often been involved in high-profile feuds and storylines on Monday Night RAW.
In a conversation with Diamond Dallas Page on DDP Yoga, the Undisputed WWE Champion spoke highly of Dominik Mysterio. The American Nightmare stated that the second-generation star is a prime example of a good heel. Rhodes also said that he sees much of himself in The Judgment Day member.
"I know most people say negative, terrible things about Dom [Dominik Mysterio], you know, his current locker room. Dom is the guy, who I was at WrestleMania 40 like maybe it's WrestleMania 50: Who knows what it is? That's someone you're going to watch grow up in front of you and who's clearly delivering on the most important levels," Rhodes said. [From 23:59 to 24:26]

Dominik Mysterio recently defeated a WWE Hall of Famer on RAW
In 2022, Dominik Mysterio decided to step out of his father's shadows when he turned on him and aligned with The Judgment Day. After tormenting his father for months, the two finally settled scores inside the ring at WrestleMania 39. Rey Mysterio won the bout with the help of Bad Bunny who stopped Dominik from using a steel chain.
The father and son duo went their separate ways before the second-generation star decided to get one over the WWE Hall of Famer. However, he and Legado Del Fantasma's Santos Escobar failed to defeat Rey Mysterio and Andrade at The Showcase of the Immortals in Philadelphia.
Earlier this year, Rey and Dominik Mysterio ended up on the same brand and continued their feud from April. Meanwhile, Liv Morgan tried her best to help the second-generation star and got a mixed tag team match against LWO's Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega.
In the end, Liv Morgan assisted Dirty Dom in defeating his father finally. However, the celebration was interrupted when Rhea Ripley returned to the Stamford-based promotion.
