CM Punk breaks silence after dastardly finish to WWE Clash at the Castle; shots fired at Drew McIntyre
WWE Superstar CM Punk recently fired shots at Drew McIntyre after interfering in the main event of WWE Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event. Last night, Punk took their rivalry to the next level.
After McIntyre finally dethroned Seth Rollins as the World Heavyweight Champion at WWE WrestleMania XL, he dropped the title in minutes to Damian Priest. The Judgment Day member cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, following an assault by CM Punk. The Scottish Warrior faced Priest at WWE Clash at the Castle in his home country of Scotland but ended up losing the match as Punk once again interfered, this time disguised as a referee.
Following the show, CM Punk took to his Instagram stories to fire major shots at Drew McIntyre. The Second City Saint uploaded a cleverly edited version of the famous "Barry Allen Grave Meme," indicating that he buried McIntyre's dream of winning the World Heavyweight Championship in Glasgow, Scotland.

Damian Priest said he had no idea about CM Punk's involvement in his match against Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle
During the WWE Clash at the Castle post-show press conference, Damian Priest said that he did not have any idea about CM Punk getting involved to cost Drew McIntyre the World Heavyweight Championship.
Priest also mentioned that he was glad to see The Best in the World healthy and said he would love to share the ring with him in the future.
"I didn't even know he [CM Punk] was here. I had no idea that he was gonna get involved... I found out, literally as I was walking out, that I saw him with the referee t-shirt on, and then I was told in the back what happened. As far as him being back... it's fine. He's a huge star, and we all know his accolades, we all know his resume. So, when he's back healthy if he can still perform at a high level, and he earns his way... I would love to share the ring with him, but he's gonna have to earn it because I am the World Champ," Priest said.
It will be interesting to see what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for CM Punk and Drew McIntyre's potential clash.
