CM Punk brings his "son" backstage to WWE RAW; sends a heartfelt message to wife AJ Lee

With his big Hell in a Cell Match coming up, CM Punk was not on this week's episode of WWE RAW. However, he was backstage at the show. The Best in the World even brought a special guest along with him.

Punk's dog, Larry, was also backstage at WWE RAW. The Straight Edge Superstar hasn't held back in showcasing his love for his furry friend in the past couple of years, with today being no exception. CM Punk posted a few pictures of Larry on his Instagram stories, including one of him in the booker's chair.

The final one was one of him sitting in the ring with Larry. It featured a message from Punk, who stated that he's never been happier. The former WWE Champion referred to Larry as his "son," while tagging his wife AJ Mendez (fka AJ Lee) in the story:

"Bring your son to work day. I've never been happier," wrote Punk.

He may have had fun backstage on WWE RAW, but CM Punk's on-screen situation is no laughing matter at all. In his absence, Drew McIntyre cut an intense promo about how he doesn't want to fight inside Hell in a Cell, but the two of them have to. The Scottish Warrior even promised to make Punk bleed.

It will be interesting to see if The Second City Saint has any final remarks left for McIntyre on next week's episode of WWE RAW. After that, it's straight to Atlanta for Bad Blood, where things will never be the same again. CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are set to go to war inside Hell in a Cell.
