CM Punk called "monster" by former WWE Champion following RAW

CM Punk has been a top name on WWE RAW throughout 2024. A multi-time world champion seemingly took another shot at The Best in the World, this time on social media.

Seth Rollins has been getting his hands dirty on RAW by getting into a rivalry with CM Punk the night after Bronson Reed got injured. The latter was in a program with The Visionary, but an injury sustained at last week’s Survivor Series: WarGames event seems to have taken him out for some time.

This has forced WWE to kick off the rivalry between CM Punk and Seth Rollins earlier than expected. The two men have gotten into a war of worlds, cutting promos against each other on the latest edition of RAW.

Following Monday night’s show, Rollins took to Instagram to post a few pictures of himself in his outfit for the night. He accompanied it with the following caption:

"May the best monster win. #WWERaw," Seth Rollins wrote.

It looks like Seth Rollins called himself and his archnemesis a "monster" in the post. The two men will likely face off in their first match around the time RAW makes its Netflix premiere.

CM Punk helped Roman Reigns at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames

Paul Heyman returned last month in the nick of time to help Roman Reigns’ Bloodline find the fifth member for its team. Surprisingly, Heyman convinced CM Punk to work alongside The OTC in his fight against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline.

Not only did The Best in the World help The OG Bloodline pick up the win, but he also saved Reigns from certain disasters. He moved The OTC out of the way just in time for Bronson Reed to miss a Tsunami from the top of the cage onto a table.

The move injured Reed and took him out of the game. It also allowed WWE to fast-track the rivalry between Punk and Rollins. Meanwhile, Paul Heyman owes the RAW Superstar a favor that fans will only find out about when the time is right.
